Did that 100E have XR2 mechanicals? Only it looks remarkably similar to one owned by a guy from Glasgow known as Bert 'Danger' Bond (that's his real name by the way).....

I flew to Galsgow to buy it from a guy called Steve (owened the orange X-pack MK2 Capri). Filled it up with gogo juice, the tank ruptured...flew home. In retrospect, bullet well and truly dodged. And JSS, the Cortina, mine was minty fresh too. Now on Spax adjustables and Mex steels, soon to be fitted with a Volvo turbo lump!! Chris

Bert and his girlfriend drove it all the way down from Glasgow, necked a gigantic fry-up, then drove all the way back again.....
