Right, some of you will know this car as I only bought it a couple of months ago. I'm only looking to let it go as I may have the oppourtunity to buy something extremely rare & awesomely cool when I'm over in the US of A in the summer (and it's not an american car!).
I'm not one for making profit on my cars, I'm not a dealer and Ive never made a penny on any of my cars. But on this occasion I bought it dramatically under-priced. Ive done some research and these generally go for £1.5K+ so this is still priced very very well. If it wasn't for the impending chance of buying something awesome I a) probably wouldn't be selling or b) selling at what it cost me. Not that any of that really matters but I do feel a little guilty making money from it - even though I have every right to.
Anyways, enough excuses & apologising unnecessarily...
This is a 1996 Nissan Rasheen. A JDM-only import crafted from 100% coolness by fastidious japanese hands. Sporting a casual yet striking lick of beige paint, and incorporating a matching beige steering wheel inside the 'picnic basket' interior. Its done something like 86K miles but the odometer says higher - a by-product of swapping in a mph speedo from something else I was told by the former keeper.
The engine is a 1.5 identical to the Nissan Sunny of the same era mated to an automatic gearbox. It was once 4WD but was converted to FWD for economy and speed It has also been lowered a couple of inches so looks the part already.
The paintwork is generally good with just a few chips on the front bumper and a tiny bubble or two of rust in places its hard to see.
Runs like a swiss-watch mechanically and is quite nippy.
Awesome split-open tailgate and loads of room inside with the seats folded down for trips to the dump, swapmeet visits or a spot of dogging if that's your thing. Heck - you could easy get two bodies in there (three if chopped-up)... great for all you aspiring/experienced serial killers!
CD player up front + extra speakers up the back for an acceptable sound-stage, cooler-than-eskimo-piss wind deflectors all 'round, 4 leccy windows, Air-Con (fully functional) & de-badged tailgate.
Anyways, as they say, a picture tells a thousand words - so heres a few thousand words for you......
I'm not in a huge rush to part with this as I'm not going away for a couple of months, but it still needs to be gone - One in, one out I'm told by the missus!
If I get the full £1K for it I'll put a whole fresh MOT on it so could be a 13 month MOT... and Ill leave the tax on it too - think that runs until next January (2011)!!
Anyways, PM if interested
